Please allow me a moment to express my gratitude on behalf of the Real Salt Lake players, coaches, management, staff and ownership – really the entire club, YOUR club – for the unparalleled demonstration of support we received Wednesday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.

The collective passion, intensity and exuberance that we have come to expect from you at our “Fortress” were raised to a whole new level in the CONCACAF final leg against Monterrey. You responded by arriving early, wearing our colors and standing while singing and chanting the entire game, in extremely impressive fashion.

You, our season-ticket holders, our most loyal fans, deserve credit for the spectacular atmosphere the world saw at Rio Tinto Stadium Wednesday night. The difficult 0-1 loss was a huge opportunity gone missing and we feel deeply, deeply disappointed about that, as I’m sure all of you do as well.

Some in the media have credited Real Salt Lake for transforming the game of soccer in the United States, as we continue to show others that we are not a club that’s willing to stand by and let the soccer world pass us by. I give that credit to you all, the RSL “Fans 4 Life” who have given our sport and our club a wonderful home in Utah.

Everyone affiliated with RSL must hold our heads high about everything we did to give ourselves this great opportunity. If we continue with the same commitment and work ethic that made us the first American team to win a CCL group, to advance past the quarterfinal stage, along with all the other firsts - these kinds of disappointing nights will be few and far between, simply because we know our best is almost always going to be enough.

The challenging question before us is now clearer than ever: How will we respond to this setback, as we resume MLS play and participate in the Open Cup later this season?

True greatness, for me, is the ability to persevere and move forward even in the most difficult of times, especially on the heels of the most glaring disappointments. Everyone affiliated with RSL needs to be tighter than ever now, as a club, and as supportive as a family would be. With that support, we will pull ourselves right back onto track and resume pursuit of our goals.

WE CAN and I believe WE WILL.

One of my all-time favorite ladies!!!   Wow!   Those eyes melt me!

I wanted to send a little shout out to the five (5) West Virginia University Senior Basketball players before their final game on Senior Day at the Coliseum in Morgantown today.

Those five players are: John Flowers, Joe Mazzulla, Casey Mitchell, Cam Thoroughman and Jonnie West.

I have really enjoyed watching these young men give blood, sweat and tears for WVU and its fans over their years here.

I wish nothing but the best to these five fine gentlemen and hope they prosper in everything they shoot for in the future.  Seeing their hardwork, perseverance and determination, I feel there will be nothing they can’t attain in life.

Good luck and kick some ass against Pitino’s Louisville Cardinals today.  After all, we are undefeated in March for the past two years.  Let’s keep the streak alive.

I’m sitting here watching ‘Hitman’ with Timothy Olyphant playing an assassin and this very attractive Ukrainian female pops on the screen.  Anyone who has seen this movie knows who i am talking about. Her name is Olga Kurylenko.  Damn!

So, I just thought of something that I would like to have input on.  Is there another female named Olga in the free world that is hotter than her?
